Wade & Linda,
Just wanted to give you an update on Ruger. HE IS
BEAUTIFUL!!! My other dog was not happy at first and was
being very protective of me; however they have become the best
of friends. (This is good since my other dog weighs about 5
pounds) He is adapting well, lots of love and kisses, likes the
kids. He spent the day Sunday in the yard with us and the kids
were playing with the water hose, Baton really loved biting at the
water coming out. He hasn't had any accidents in the house but
we are using the crate and watching him carefully. He seems to
like coming to my office, we have had him there yesterday and
today. He is going to be very spoiled, the office staff won't leave
him alone. I will send pictures soon. Thanks so much for a
beautiful addition to our family. Also, I have looked into
obedience classes, what age should we start?

Linda,
Wow, new puppy and swamped at work leaves me little
time. Nike is great and so bright. She is just doing very
well. She sleeps well in her crate at night and is so good in
the house. She is learning her boundaries...well except
when the cat teases from the next room. I will take some
more pictures when Addie comes back from camp. She is
growing like a weed! Hope all is well. Addie will write
when she gets home Friday.
